WOW! LOL! Glad I decided to pop back in here...
It IS true. And was a culmination of several years of research performed by EXTREMELY well educated people. The FACT is that ascorbic acid causes the ionic silver particles to cluster and form silver nanoparticles, yet remain in suspension creating a true "colloid". THAT is what accounts for the change into an [amber] color, in accordance with the tyndall effect. However, adding too much ascorbic acid will create silver oxide causing it to turn black and fall out of suspension. But hey, to anyone reading this post...
