Thank you wombat for the informative links in that post.   I was was particularly intrigued by the information on Reactive Hypoglycemia and actually thought of bookmarking the site until it started recommending the Atkins Diet.  Then the site lost me.  And isn't it funny, but I do recommend a hypoglycemic diet for people with panic attacks, together with certain supplements one of which is iodine.

Actually, I recommend a modified hypoglycemic diet with no red meats, making sure that all foods are natural with no processed foods sneaking in.  The perfect diet is actually 80% raw and 20% cooked consisting of chicken and fish.

I have known several people who went on the Atkins Diet and although they insisted that it was wonderful and they were losing weight, once they reached their desired weight and stopped the diet they gained it all back and more.  It is not a healthy diet and not good for your cardiovascular system.  Two of them suffered heart attacks during the diet.

This is the website that I usually point people to and it contains the same information as in the link you provided.

However, the diet recommended on this site is natural, nutritionally sound and insures total healing.

I welcome and encourage everyone to go through the entire site.  It is quite large, but worth every minute of reading.

Warm regards,
Luella
