No, it was not a good idea to take the Tylenol. First of all, it is filtered through your liver. You are right in your thinking as to the cause of the headache. If you can hang in there WITH the headache, it will go away. Take a hot bath, go for a walk, kick the cat, hit the wall---whatever you want to do.

Just remember.....no pain, no gain!
