How safe and effective is Hydrocortisone for AF?

I have had several dr recommend this to me. My friend who suffers from severe AF is getting better with it and she is telling me to not be afraid of it.

Is is safe? Do the adrenals remember how to work after you taper off?

I have been through so much and am so afraid to mess anything up right now. I am on Dr. Wilson's severe AF protocol and will be adding HC tomorrow if I'm brave enough.

Is this wise?
