Hi
Unfortunately I do not have any children. I do hope, one day, that perhaps I will have a family. I have suffered miscarriage, twice, and perhaps the parasites played a part here, I'm not sure.
With regards to how you get your family members to treat/be tested. It's really down to them. I understand your concern. I am concerned for my husband, siblings, parents. It's a constant worry for me.
I've tried to educate them as much as I can with regards to what I know regarding my infections/infestations. It's been tough. Up until I received my micrographs and notes my family didn't believe that I had parasites, bacterial, fungal and mold issues.
Now they know what's going on with me, is it enough for them to get tested? I really don't know. I've tried to explain (until I'm blue in the face), that because you have no symptoms doesn't mean to say you don't have parasites etc. I've left articles with them to read in their own time. I sometimes think they'd rather be slightly naive than perhaps know the truth but I can't do anything about that. I do what I can to make them aware but at the end of the day, it's really down to them. They say they don't have symptoms. It's almost like, why fix something that isn't broken??
One thing I'm sure about, if they were to live one day in the life of 70428, Rabbitears, Monique_1, Jessesmom, Hostess, and countless others on these forums they'd seriously think again.
70428.
