It is one thing to be antisemitic and believe for example that Jews are ugly (like Natalie Portman , Olivia Newton John , Paul Newman) and sneaky businessmen and therefore chose not to invite them to your sunday afternoon pool party .It is another to make utterly false allegations like Mel Gibson's allegation that Jews are responsible for all wars ,Jews kill children of Christians and muslims and drink their blood , Jews control the vast majority of the world's corporations etc . The latter types of allegations lead to pogroms and holocasts.According to Niall Ferguson , the Rothschilds fared better in times of peace than war and unstable political , and economic conditions increase the chances of persecution of Jews.
