Because planes can't bring down those buildings.

Good point. There was, however, another good point why they needed planes; to serve as the cover story to then feed to a world full of sheep looking for fodder to be terrorized by. Without the planes, the loony theory that was the official 911 story would have been too loony to pass even for people in charge of passing official stories. Try to remember that the loony notion that 19 towell-headed radical middle-eastern cave-dwelling terrorist were able to penetrate the pinnacle of defenses of the world's only superpower so-called, using nothing more than tricked-up razor blades was fashioned to revolve around a critically necessary device; the planes. Without the planes, there really was not much of a hook to hang the "19 bogeymen" hat on.

In retrospect, this does make for some reasonable speculation to imagine how that day would have gone down without the planes. Lets see, 19 bogeymen divided roughly across 4 theaters of operation, so that day could have looked like this: emergency news bulletin # 1, from New York: "hello there, dear viewers out there in tv land. This is your crack free & independent press team doing the duty of protecting the public trust by way of brining you truthful information from this still-developing albeit peculiar news story. As strange and odd as this story appears, 4.75 towel-headed cave men wielding tricked-up razor blades walked into the North Tower... no, South Tower, no, still unconfirmed, but rest assured they walked into one of these two towers at approximately 9:15 AM this morning, demanding that the tower fall down to the ground into a big pile of fire, smoke, debris and molten rubble. When asked what the basis of their demands was, one of the 4.75 men replied 'because we hate your way of life". Please stay tuned as this story continues to develop. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress"..... a couple 20, 30 minutes go by when suddenly emergency news bulletin # 2, from New York: "hello again dear viewers. We have an update to the recent late-breaking news out of New York City still unfolding as we speak. A second group of 4.75 towel-headed cave men wielding tricked-up razor blades have walked into the other tower of WTC, demanding the tower be brought down, apparently, because they too hate our way of life. We now go to our correspondent. Bif, reporting live from just outside the Pentagon where, oddly enough, there appears to be a similar story breaking there. emergency news bulletin # 3, from the Pentagon: " this information remains at this moment unconfirmed but I have it from a reliable but anonymous Pentagon source that moments ago, 4.75 towel-headed cave men were subdued while wielding tricked-up razor blades in an effort to put a missile-sized hole into an outer wall at the ground level of an outer ring of the Pentagon. It remains a mystery how these men managed to breach the perimeter of the Pentagon's high-tech defenses and get right up to the actual outer wall of the outer ring. It goes without saying that to the world, the image of the Pentagon is the pinnacle of defenses of the world's only superpower. Right this moment, the world may be scratching it's collective head wondering just how, exactly, 4.75 men were able to defeat all these high-tech defenses so as to get to their intended ground zero of attack right there at the outside of a ground level outer-ring wall of the Pentagon....... Back to you". " Bif. this is Muffy here at studio headquarters. Are you aware that there has already been an eerily similar, bizarre report on a par with yours, from out of New York City, this morning?". "Yes, Muffy, I am casually aware of those unconfirmed reports of a strange, odd news story out of New York". "Bif, do you know if there is even the hint at this moment of any alleged connection between the group of 4.75 towell-headed cavemen involved at the Pentagon and the reports of 2 similar groups of cavemen reportedly involved in New York?". "No, Muffie, there are no confirmations at this time but there are nonetheless definite suspicions that the loony story still unfolding here at the Pentagon are in some way connected .... perhaps by way of a greater, conspired plan, with the stories out of New York. As strange as that suggestion seems, that the loony stories out of New York, and the actors involved there, are in some way involved with what is happening here at the Pentagon, well, that does all seem a bit too strange to believe, but this is among the stories we continue to follow here while these details remain unconfirmed. Back to you Muffie". Emergency News Bulletin # 4: "we come to you live from a vacant field in rural Pennsylvania about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh. This story continues to unfold as we speak. Here is what we know thus far although this information is still late-breaking and the various details still not confirmed. At approximately 10:00 AM, EST, 4.75 towel-headed cave men wielding tricked-up razor blades were spotted and observed to be sort of aimlessly wondering around in a pasture that is itself only a few hundred yards west of a wooded area. When approached by authorities, the men said, apparently, that they were looking for whomever the person was in charge of this rural field. When the men were asked why they were looking for a leader, they replied in unison "so we can inform that person that we hate your way of life. As such we intend to demonstrate this by making a relatively small, charred, smoking hole right here in the ground".... seemingly strange, but true although I reiterate, still unconfirmed. Back to you"  "Muffy here at studio headquarters, we go now, live, to our correspondent Blitz, on the streets of New York City, just a few blocks from WTC. Blitz, what do you have?". "My dear Muffy, in the last half hour I have taken the opportunity to conduct impromptu interviews with regular passer-by people on the street here, just as a way of getting an early estimate or measure of what the people think about the odd, seemingly connected stories unfolding between here, the Pentagon, and a vacant field in rural Pennsylvania. These impromptu reports are of course still unconfirmed, but there is a common thread that runs through all of the people I've interviewed here on the streets thus far. With some exceptions, most of these people have had this to say:

                        "when I heard the report of the first incident at the South Tower... or was it the North Tower?.. anyway, when I heard the first report of the first incident, I thought, oh my, just a single, lone, nutty story. But then, when I heard the first report of the second story, right away I thought 'oh, oh no, this clearly indicates terrorists in the White House, in  Congress, in the many departments, sub-departments and agencies formal and non of the entire collective USG, from both sides of the isle,  Democrats and Republicans alike, acting in concert as stooges and minions at the behest of shady, powerful people that wield the true power and influence in this world from behind our puppet government figures that we have been brainwashed into thinking are our so-called elected officials', those are the thoughts that immediately went through my mind upon hearing the first reports of the second story"
