I understand doc is totally against transdermal medications (hormones etc) but I'm wondering his thoughts on intravenous vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Some clinics give these formulations to give those with digestive issues a direct dose of vitamins and minerals--straight into the blood stream. IV vitamin cocktails is a term I've heard thrown around (and used at alternative medicine clinics). Anyone with any experience in this area? Seems like it may help those that are digestively compromised and need the nutrition any way they can get it--an instant boost to say the least. Any opinions on the subject?
