I guess folks involved in an emotional issue just tend to miss that meaning to the title.

I like that you suggest the threads be re-arranged afterward. That might help posters understand more quickly.

I especially like that there IS a place FOR NDP's. That must be a heck of a habit to change.

Many do change, I've heard.

One story just told to me was of a man who didn't know he was on his deathbed. He asked his daughter's forgiveness and told her he'd help her as soon as he was well.

I like to think that he would have. It is simply a small step into a mindset we prefer, I think...and the ins and outs of putting things right.

"Please excuse me," is very helpful, and following through, without obligating the former recipients in any way.
