HOVEWER, a big question pops in my mind.
This article gives a long list of substances, that, according to what it says, KILL candida or prevent the rizoid form from appearing.
A number of people on this forum have literally loaded their system--daily, for long periods of time--with some of these substances, with no lasting results whatsoever: sometimes, they feel temporary results that disapear fast.
Myself, I have taken some of these substances--the one that do not give me allergies--and did not see any improvement. Pau d'Arco, for instance. They say it KILLS candida; never did anything for me. If it really killed candida, I should have been healed long ago.
How do they know it kills candida? Did they conduct tests?--in vivo, not in vitro-I don't think so, these guys are very assertive in their claims but there is nothing scientific behind these statements, we just have to take their word for it, that's all.

Logically, it can only mean
- that these claims about candida killed by such and such are unsubstantiated
- or that candida in itself is not the real problem

After trying to fight this curse for years, I have come to the conclusion that the field of anticandida therapies is mostly filled by unsubstantiated claims, hearsay, endlessly recycled myths, propagated by MDs and naturopaths who never had the disease themselves and are just creating crazy theories that they blindly apply to their patients, discarding the evidence that these supposed ''cures'' don't work.

We know next to nothing about candida; as long as serious/extensive studies on the patients/drugs are not conducted, we are just shooting in the dark. And anyybody who makes these sweeping claims ''XXXX kills candida'' is just a quack.
Personnally, I am sick and tired of all these unsubstantiated claims, they make you doubt everything.
