Back to Eden was my first introduction to the medicinal herbal world back in the 70s. Notice that I qualified "medicinal herbal"; as much experimentation of other herbs for entertainment was part of the 60s and 70s.

I like this book; because it goes beyond botanical and medicinal information on the herbs. Tonics, treatments, food preparations, etc. are found here too.
