Hi Charlie,

I hope you can give me some advice on a cough I've been having lately. It started about 3 weeks ago and I've been to the doctors who listened to my lungs and gave me a peak flow test, both of which they said were clear and indicated great lung function.

The cough is dry and I feel like I there is something in my trachea but I can't clear it. The last two days my lungs have started making a noise, it sounds almost like a quick passing gurgle (the way your stomach makes). I don't feel out of breath and coughing doesn't do anything - it doesn't feel like there is any fluid there.

Do you know what this could be or what I should do in the short term to help myself? I'm getting a bit scared.
