Charlie,
Im wondering how it was worked out and not trying to reinvent the wheel. Im curious what methods herbalists used to determine the herbs medicinal value. If a new plant is discovered how would they determine if it had a medicinal use? And to go even further lets say that they do figure out that its beneficial to the liver for instance, how do they know if it feeds it versus detoxifies it, etc.
