It didn't hurt going in or coming out for me either. The doc kept asking "Are you okay? We're almost done now." He repeated this like 10 times during the insertion and I was like "Yes. I'm fine. Stop asking!" He was making me nervous like I was supposed to feel pain! And when I had it taken out 9 months later, they had to tell me to sit up when they were done. I didn't even know it was out. I almost fell asleep.
