Again, we should provide sources for the profound things we say. In doing so, we will strengthen the effectiveness of these forums and also know EXACTLY what we are talking about when we speak to other people, including conventional doctors.
In answer to your statement, as far as I can find, mercury does not "attack" amino acids per se. Rather, certain amino acids act as transport carriers for mercury which consequently spread the mercury to various places in the body. This is shown in the studies below:
