"I would not and did not define her behavior as obssessive/compulsive and will not take her to a professional." OMG! Those words gave me a chill. First of all, I don't recall anyone saying your daughter was OCD. Also, what harm is there in discussing this with your pediatrician? That's what they're there for! You say your daughter constantly demands your attention. That alone possibly suggests that something is troubling her. What do you have to lose by discussing this with the pediatrician?
