I'm not sure whether you know this or not, but a good thing to know is that any treatment that is going to make you better is going to make you worse in the short term; its called the Herxheimer reaction, or "die off". When you kill nasties, ie, candida and fungus, they create additional toxins in the body and make you feel quite sick initially. The body then clears up the debris in time. The paragone effect you reported was most likely die off symptoms I believe.
