I think one of major factors of the mirena side effects is that it is a poison and is destroying our liver/gall bladder which effects our hormone cycles, nervous system, digestion (bloating, nausea), and the leg, back, abdominal, foot pains are all along the gallbladder line in acupuncture, and insomnia...Suggest acupuncture, vitamin B complex, DHA-EFA, Bach Rescue Remedy (homeopathic drops can get at whole foods, helps so much with anxiety)...and yes anxiety caused by the mirena can be completely physical with nothing mental to trigger it...I'm 8 months post removal and still trying to get "normal"...almost there...best wishes
