Hi Bob

Thank you so much for encouraging me to use the Intestinal Formula's ( Dr Schultz).

You do remember my case, right? - IBS for about 9 years. And this 18 months - constant bouts of diarrhoea. Weeks at a time hardly able to eat normal food other than totally bland etc...

Anyway, I've been using the IF's for a week now. My gut is pretty damaged after these 18 months ( the lining and what have you) and IF1 seems a little too much right now. I initially started with IF2, maybe used a little too much and drank too little water and it clogged things a bit! So I tried one capsule of IF1 twice last week to relieve things. It felt a little too loose and uneasy the next day.

In my position, how would you use the IF2?
Right now I'm trying to heal the gut and get myself eating normal food again. Already, I'm eating better. Until last week, I'd been living on rice and plain broiled fish for a month since the latest bout began. Now I'm managing to eat chicken and have started working out again.

I read somewhere on the net that with an irritated bowel, one should only use IF2. Is that the case? I've struggled to find a really comprehensive guide for how to use the IF's for different conditions. In particular - mine. Do you know the URL of such a guide?

At the moment I've settled on about half the normal dose of IF2. I'm taking just 1/2 a teaspoon in 4oz of water once a day. That seems to be doing the trick.

Is using just IF2 on it's own a good way to cleanse the bowel? Should I continue using it as long as possible?

Lastly, a silly question. The seeds - are you supposed to chew them? Or is there some reason to swallow them with the water/ juice?

Any advice you have me for me will be wonderful.

Thanks mate
