You better read " Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand to learn more about your favorite Socialism . Why it cannot and will not survive in the long run.
It's simply against Nature . And nobody and nothing can survive for long time if it doesn't follow Nature. There is no socialism in Nature . Only the strong survive and the strongest one is King , leading the others.
The American model is the best there ever was , in my opinion . And I'm not even American but former Communist experiment child . I believe The American system is being corrupted on purpose . To discourage other countries from trying to do follow the same model.
Socialism can only exist in Countries that used to have large colonies before and enriched themselves . There could be no Socialism or Democracy in poor countries . It's impossible. The Swedish experiment is relatively new , give it some more time and then decide if it's good or not .
It has survived so far because Sweden is rich and besides it's not real Socialism . It's a Constitutional Monarchy and they have a King . There are no kings in real Socialism . The State is the only King in Socialism
and owns everything . But the State is not a good Owner , that's why it fails eventually.
Sweden only vaguely resembles Socialist Country . It's not even close .
There could be no private corporations in a Socialist country . State Owns Everything . More on Sweden :

P.S. By the way this is Curezone , so you should know better , the fact that some people don't have Health ( read Sick ) Care in America is actually an advantage for them . Fear the day when they force everybody here to have mandatory health insurance , cause it's coming . The Insurance companies will make it happen . A smart guy once said : There is nothing more expensive then "free" health Care.
