Hi all! I am trying to decided which to get, a distiller or a reverse osmosis system?

My city/state fluoridates the water and I want something that will take most (all would be better) of the fluoride out of my water.

I have looked at a few distillers, and they seem to take a long time to produce just 1 gallon. I need something that makes 10-12 gallons a day at the least. I can't afford to pay a fortune for it either.

I have also looked at reverse osmosis systems. They seem good, but I have read in a message below that the water that comes out is acidic. Is this a usual thing that happens? What, if anything, can be done to avoid/eliminate this? Does anyone have any more information on this?

Also, for health, which is better or preferred? What are the ups and downs regarding both of these systems?

Thanks for all the help you can give me.
