This is the first time I have posted on the site. I hope I don't break any posting rules. I have benifited so much from people being willing to share their knowledge that I decided it was time for me to give back a little.

I encourage you to please do a web search for Dr. Harry Hoxsey's story. He was a doctor in the 1950s who used Logol's Solution (Iodine) to cure cancer.

My spouse and I started to paint a 2" X 2" patch of Iodine on our skin and we don't get sick nearly as often as we used to.

Very Important: Be careful to test a small area on the skin before full use because some people are allergic to iodine.

I realized that for decades betadine has been the pre-op antiseptic of choice for surgical wounds. I tell you, it worked great. I have always been surprised at the very few surgical wound infections I've encountered. Now I believe that this was in a large part due to the effectiveness of the Iodine.

It seems that the body will absorb the Iodine at different rates. Sometimes it absorbs it in a few hours and sometimes it takes 2 days. Maybe the body decides how much it needs and will uptake only that amount.

I know someone personally who cured a mild case of fibrocysitc breast disease by using Lugol's Solution.

You can actually use any Iodine solution, but there are different types, so
do a search on the Internet to learn more before you use it yourself--educate yourself so you can use it intelligently.
