B-12 is harvested from bacteria which makes the B-12 via organic synthesis.Man does clean and manipulate this harvest for purity and potency reasons.All foodstuffs have been manipulated by mankind to some degree and this shouldnt be a major issue.The analogs found in plants are obstructive not helpful on this issue they are down regulating.
