Originally I used NOW brand psyllium with Sonne's bentonite, the psyllium has a unique taste (I almost thought it was a rancid smell/taste, if you are squeamish it might be harder for you to swallow it. I found that when I bought BioActive Nutrients' Flaxium it was a lot easier to swallow and had almost a sweet taste, it doesn't gel up as quickly either and I figure it combines two of the cleanses I read about minus one ingredient = cottage cheese. Psyllium, Flax seed and Bentonite are combined whereas one of the cleanses I read about involved flax seed and cottage cheese - which doesn't sound that cleansing to me.
The Bentonite on it's own does not have much of a taste at all, I mixed it with water and tried it alone and found it was quite easy to drink.
Best wishes on your cleanse :o)
