Disagreed In Charge. The reason I started arguing against the original post was more because it was trying to scare people away from dry fasting with no good reason.

Seriously, coming into a fasting support forum and trying to argue it's dangerous is just ridiculous. And as I've said plenty of water fasters here will never dry fast and have expressed that they don't like the idea much, but they don't try to scare other people off it because they respect the people here who do do it. This isn't a dry fasting forum and we don't make a big deal of it, but I won't sit by while someone comes in and tries to scare people out of doing it.
