Thank you for your opinion. I appreciate how you feel about anesthesia and about letting it heal naturally, now I am feeling better about waiting it out. So you have an almost 14 year old dog? I hope he/she has many more years to come! I am sure the Iodine will help.

Dear White Tiger, WOW a boxer with a LH chi! How cool is that. I am glad your jaw healed up ok. Good idea about the food processor, I am glad that your opinion is also leaning towards letting it heal without human intervention. No teeth were removed this time. He does have small bones, even for a chihuahua, I call it "bird-bone."

Iodine has helped his oral health tremendously. With the same amount of tooth brushing, he had mild gingivitis and no teeth pulled this exam compared to last year (before my Iodine supping) when he had severe gingivitis and 3 teeth out. YIKES!
