OK, I just looked very quickly at your message archive, and it seems that you've either been trying to conceive or worried about conceiving for a while. There are studies showing some women previously unable to conceive were able to do so after getting ferritin above 40. But this doesn't work for everyone, obviously.

You asked a question about chlamydia a while back. If no one has told you this already, it will hopefully come as relief to know that the vast, vast majority of women who have had chlamydia are able to conceive without a problem. If the chlamydia goes untreated for a long time, it can cause scarring in the fallopian tubes, which can result in an ectopic pregnancy (fertilized egg gets stuck in the fallopian tubes, which are too narrow due to scarring, and can't make it to the uterus. Ectopic pregnancies have to be removed) or infertility. If your tubes weren't scarred, and the chlamydia has been treated, you don't need to worry about it. Even among patients who had pelvic inflammatory disease, about 90% have normal tubes. If you are worried about this, ask your doctor. They can actually look at your fallopian tubes and see if they are scarred. Even with some scarring, conception isn't usually a problem. If it turns out to be, reconstructive surgery to remove the damage is an option.
