why has my message been hidden? What's with the censorship? I thought we agreed previously to have nice, respectful conversations, and that explanations of your theories were better than making people feel unwelcome.

The basic point of my previous post: VIRUSES DON'T EAT! The cells they infect obviously require nutrients (energy), but the viruses themselves do not. Virally infected cells get nutrients from the same sources as non-infected cells: carbs, proteins, lipids, etc.
