Male, got EC around the age of 24. Got EC at the time I was taking loads of different supplements which I believe knocked my body out of balance and possibly gave me a yeast infection.

One thing I'd make sure you mention is that this disease occurs regularly in people with Aids so it could be a sign of something wrong with the immune system. Just wondering if you have loads of little white dots in your lips as well? Although these are meant to be harmless Fordyce's Spots mine only occur in the affected peeling area and a few people on here are the same. Could be damaged glands or something???

There is also numerous examples of this being linked to stress and people having mental problems. Chronic stress could affect the immune system...
