Yep, it sounds like you're passing mucoid plaque...the hard, dark stuff! Not sure what the pea-size thingies were...could be parasites.

When I did my initial Colon Cleanse I experienced some cramping, bloating, queesies, fatigue, headaches and general yuck feelings from time to time. It would often come on suddenly and sometimes get progressively worse. This often occured within a few to several hours of passing a bunch of gunk! Usually, as soon as I expelled it I had immediate relief...until the next big release. As my system got cleaner this happened less and less, and the times it did were not as uncomfortable. One of the frustrating parts of this cleanse is that the abdomen often swells in the earlier stages because all that stuff is becoming a bit more hydrated and loosening up. I promise...it goes away as the cleanse progresses...and it's worth the discomfort.

I found that whenever I got any of those icky feelings during the cleanse an enema usually helped considerably...that was before I knew about colonics...which is the best way to get it out FAST!
