Its been over a month since I have posted here. Both my computer and I have been very ill. I am slowly getting better, but, alas, my computer's problem was probably fatal. I was able to find a new processor that I could use with my existing accessories and finally got back on line. I have been dealing with a severe respitory problem that has left me very weak with wheezing, coughing, terrible headaches and an almost total lack of strength and energy. I had a feeling that all the flooding rains we have had this year might have created a mold problem in my old house. How strange it was to read of a similar problem and the same diagnosis when I came back here.

Last week I was dozing after work when the dogs starting barking hysterically. A deputy from the County Sheriff's office was looking for me. I was touched that someone cared enough to check up on me (I think I know who it was, a very caring and generous person). However, I was struggling to lean against my car to talk to him since I backed over my walker a few weeks ago and the wheelchair was in the trunk of the car. Anyway, when the dogs kept barking the deputy pulled out his pepper spray and, instead of getting the dogs, managed to get me right in the face. Let me tell you, that stuff burns! My left eye still hurts. I don't think the deputy meant to hurt me, but, I also have a feeling that he might have been disappointed not to discover a rotting corpse. Finding a dead person would have probably gotten him on the front page of our weekly newspaper. Sick women and broken computers are hardly newsworthy. The day after the pepper spray incident a very dear friend died from a massive heart attack, he was nine years older than I am. That has helped make me aware of how serious basic overall health really is. Its so easy to focus on symptoms and forget about the whole picture. One reason I appreciate Curezone so much is that it deals on holistic health much more than treating symptoms one at a time.

Its good to see Curezone is still the same, a lot of drama, a steady stream of new members seeking answers and old friends holding down the fort. I've missed you all and am so glad to be back.
