hello all, i am a mother of a molestation victim caused by my brother to my daughter; we put him away and has been almost 5yrs BUT... my daughter has always had nightmares, some even with face images of her father, her uncle (a good one), her boyfriend, etc. My concern is that now she is 18, she is in a serious relationship and they are somewhat intimate. Since the first time and only time (about 2-3 weeks ago) that her and the BF did the deed she is now having some horrific nightmares but this last one has her freaked out: my brother D (i was raised with D and C, the molester Sean is a half brother that was not raised with me or my two other "full" brothers) anyway, she had this dream that D was standing between her doorway and the bathroom materbating. now let me say, my room is directly across from hers, and the timing she is stated this "dream" happened is not concurrent with her details of when it was suppose to be happening. everything she described and even her actions (not waking up her sibling that was in the next bed) are not specific and has almost no sense to any frame of detail; now she is second guessing herself about the real incident with S and questioning herself that if she was abused again how would she beable to determine fact from fiction??? I have spent close to 25 thousand on her therapy and she is a strong, healthy young women. I wanted her to start seeing someone BEFORE any sexual relations to help her deal with what COULD happen as far flashbacks but it didnt work out that way-- now I fel she is going through what I had assumed she would once she started getting physical with that special one.
Please give me any input you may have-- are these types of dreams normal? and what do we do about them while searching for now another GOOD therapist?

P.S. We know that D did not do as her dream specifies and she knows it as well but its trying to understand why she had the dream? she is very close to D. he is the only man besides her dad, grandfather and brother that she really truly trust which makes it even harder for her to rationalize. again please please help with any info
