Thank you not only for the intrduction to Sweet Flag, but for the introduction to the article's author, Jim McDonald.

I have seldom read words so carefully crafted, yet so gentle and encouraging as to show a kindly intention toward and uplifting to the reader.

No doubt about it, Jim McDonald is a fine author.

I also suspect he might be as fine a teacher as the herbal he describes.
