Waste travels through the colon from the lower right hand side of the abdomen...a little less than half way from the right hip to the belly button...up the ascending colon across the transverse colon and down the descending colon. So this is a way for you to massage. Actually, any type of massage will be beneficial as it will increase circulation and energy...kneading, large circles, small circles...whatever feels good.
