i had mirena in for almost 3 years and NEVER had a period, just light spotting one time...it's been 4 months since i've had it taken out and no period, i called my doctor about 2 months ago and one of his nurses told me not to worry (i hate that crap, made me want to reach through the phone and slap her silly ass). i was on the pill so i thought that would make me have one, but so far it hasn't. i just quit taking them yesterday, trying to get all the extra hormones a chance to balance out...if you are taking or start taking the Provera lemme know if it helped! -Tessa
