How long is always a tough call, especially since the Ultimate Fast includes a fast and a bowel cleanse. You can always break the fast and continue with the bowel cleanse...you'll still pass plenty of mucoid plaque. Pay close attention to your body and intuition about ending the fast. If your hunger resumes, if you have a sudden drop in energy that lasts for more than a day or so, if your tongue coating becomes clear or if you are losing too much weight these are all signals to break a fast. You may continue to pass mucoid plaque for a few months...everyone responds differently.
You might want to consider making some significant changes to your diet...a lot of your food choices are quite mucoid-forming. Dairy (cheese, cream) is a major culprit, and any kind of flour products (breads, pastas, pizza) will really gunk you up. They used to make wallpaper paste with flour and water!!! Looks like you don't eat a lot of vegetables...and where are your greens?! Fruit juice often has more Sugar in it that a can of soda!...if you drink fruit juices they should be fresh and diluted with water. Carrots are good, but they also have a higher content of Sugar (along with beets) compared with other vegetables. Grains (wheat, oats, etc.) also raise insulin levels because they digest into sugars. You might want to take a look at mercola.com and see what he has to say about diet, and notmilk.com has a lot of info on dairy. Coffee is a diuretic and it also raises cortisol (stress hormone) levels...one cup in the morning will keep cortisol elevated until 10pm! Whole, fresh vegetables and fruits are cleansing foods and should be the primary part of your diet. Some people do very well with meat, others do not. Just pay attention to how your body responds instead of any hype you hear about low-fat or red meat or the like.
You're probably sorry you asked, huh...LOL?!!!
