It blocks the excess estrogen from the diet. It's one of the reasons I warn against the use of soy. Soy mimics estrogen in the human body. It's why the kids are growing so big now.

The maca blocks the estrogen mimicing things in our diet. The cattle and fowl are loaded with estrogen, even the fish. That's how they get them to grow so big. What the maca does is stop that whole mechanism so you only get "natural" ratios of estrogen and testosterone from the maca itself. It literally blocks everything else that's not supposed to be there.

If you have no overies you may not be able to totally get off the synthetics. The only thing to do is ween yorself off the drugs as you take the maca and see what happens. Maca's pretty good stuff and should do the job. You'll just have to try it and find out.
