Thanks for your input - you make some very good points.
First of all - I am not an HIV/AIDS expert in any sense - though I would describe myself as one of the more knowledgeable people to be found anywhere when it comes to oleander. I have been researching and writing about it for about 5 years now. And, I host a Yahoo health forum with over 700 members which deals primarily with oleander. What I have "seen" is the results in my group (primarily for cancer) and the reports from Marc Swanepoel for the past five years we have known each other due to our mutual interest in oleander.
I am not saying that oleander is the only thing that is effective for HIV/AIDS - but I am not familiar with anything else that is equally effective when it comes to reversing CD4 counts. And yes, as far as can be determined thus far it has never failed to increase CD4 counts in several hundred users. Unlike LDN, which is one of the very few mainstream medications I like, it has not failed when the initial count is below 300.
I think that it may be important to note that no one is marketing OPC outside South Africa and that Marc Swanepoel did not set out to make money with OPC. The OPC has been more of a hobby, or perhaps better put a labor of love for Marc, as he has endeavored to provide hope for the millions of HIV sufferers and indigent cancer patients in his native South Africa. Until shortly before his limited clinical trial he sold and distributed OPC only by word of mouth (and gave away as much as he sold), distributing an average of 75-80 bottles of extract per month.
For a long time, my interest in OPC was for cancer. But as time went by and the successes mounted up, I saw that OPC was something that had the potential to save and enhance so many more lives outside South Africa and so I took it upon myself to try as best I could to get the news out. As time permits, I will continue to do so.
When HHG voices concerns about OPC being a scam, I can understand her skepticism (though she clearly is wrong) - just as I can understand how any other member might be skeptical inspite of the studies quoted, the trials and my own history here. Too many past so-called cures and remedies have failed and many have proven to be no more than the schemes of black souled heartless profiteers preying upon the fears and hopes of the seriously ill - may they rot in hell! If you happen to check out my bio here, you can see that I have risked my life to expose fake medicines in the past. Or perhaps a better view could be found at:

Rather incredible isn't it? You should have been there is all I can say. It was no fun jumping at things that went bump in the night!
I KNOW oleander and that is why I promote it. It has saved the life of friends, family members and group members who I feel are family. And if my enthusiasm for oleander, together with my natural skepticism for the claims of things I am not familiar with (especially those that have any appearance of not being legitimate) give the appearance of me having an inflexible stance of only oleander works, then I apologize. I won't apologize for trying to save lives and telling about it though.
