I haven't had a reply to my last query...so I've been thinking about it.
I'm on Day8 of The Master Cleanse with added Bentonite clay and psyllium husks four times a day. I have had one or two bowel movements every day and they are always dark brown 'ropes' or pieces of the rope...and they are extremely rubbery...poke 'em with a stick and it just bounces back! They DO look like they'd be inside of an intestine...like the mold of one...not what would be caked on the side, but the whole intestine. Now, I know that my intestines aren't completely blocked like these eliminations suggest! hmmm.
So...these bowel movements seem to me to be...all the psyllium and Bentonite that I've been taking moves into the colon and as it waits it's turn to be eliminated it gels into the shape of the intestine, taking a perfect mold. (that psyllium stuff does gel up in the glass of water) Thankfully this combination of psyllium and Bentonite DOES suck up toxins (I'm told) and the psyllium obviously finds some dark brown fecal matter to absorb as well. (where does it find it? after days of not eating? i don't know!) All this is good. But I was really under the impression that all that rubbery rope I was eliminating was solid, old matter that I was cleaning out! I understand that I AM cleaning matter out, it's just in a new shape.
My other question was spurred by blessedbychrist's question. Why do people that have colonoscopy's see a perfectly pink colon on the screen?? - when they've never done a cleanse before? And...where is the brown matter coming from? Small intestine AND colon, I suppose?
Any expert answers would be appreciated! (PTree?)
Thanks,
Tracey
