The blonde woman on the cover of the first book was not ugly. Ugliness is in the eye of the beholder. There is beauty in every person, whether they are raw foodists or not. Beauty is something we search for in ourselves and others, and eating raw is one way to discover the body's potential for beauty. Standards of beauty are arbitrary and subject to trends and fashion. There definitely are things like flaws, defects, an unhealthy look, lack of vitality or asymmetry, but these are not necessarily 'ugly', just flawed. What's ugly is that post complaining about the "ugly girl," in capital letters, no less. If you're an intelligent consumer/reader, you can get the point of the book without 'needing' the author to present a standard of beauty you agree with.
