you remind me of one of those Jack Russell terriers who, once they've bitten into something never let go. I give you credit for your tenacity in being argumentative.

But I just don't believe how dumb your last post is.

Overwork and exhaustion, with insufficient rest and sleep over decades, would take their toll on anyone, leading to a failing body which is then susceptible to disease.

You surprise me with your ignorance on the subject of fasting.

What you fail to understand is that Fasting is not a panacea: it can only achieve what the body allows it to do. In his case, the life force of his body, lowered by years of devotion to his cause, failed to allow his body to respond to any self-healing: in other words his body did not have sufficient recuperative powers or life-force remaining.

The only question that remained for Natural Hygienists and his contemporaries, was how and WHY he allowed his health to deteriorate to such a degree, that recovery was not possible. In other words, he did not practice what he preached in terms of overwork, coupled with insufficient rest and sleep.
Sheltons disease & ultimate death was not the failure of fasting per se, but of his own body's limits in the recovery from it.

I suggest you ponder this awhile before you make other false accusations and misleading statements about the life of HM Shelton.
