" If you are the star in your house, and usually win the arguments, not having sex may be the price you are paying"
Interesting response! The poster never said anything about being the "star" in the house. Perhaps you are speaking from personal experience?
"If you want this marriage to work, find out the reason for his Depression and take ownership of anything you may have done to contribute to it... He does not turn to you because he does not feel safe doing so." Uh, this sounds like blaming the poster and putting all the responsibility on her shoulders.
I still say an overweight man in his 20's with no sex drive is probably low in testosterone. It's not unheard of, but it is extremely abnormal. Most men in the 20's have such a high sex drive they are not often discriminating in their actions!
If he has low testo, he won't understand why he has no desire and will probably feel inadequate when pressed for it. Unless you have reason to believe he's "getting it" elsewhere (self-gratification to p 0 r n, other women), I'd have his hormones tested, then brain chemistry for Depression (lack of seratonin).
If he shows this little interest after only a year, it's not going to get any better of it's own accord.
