Hi there, I know how frustrating it can be waiting for a period to start. I didn't have periods while 4 years on mirena and got one on week 7 after removal. I did start taking evening primrose oil, found it at a supplement store. This is not hormones, it's healthy fats, omega 6, I believe. I am not sure if it helped or if I was due for one already. Try it, it shouldn't hurt anything. I would try it before going with provera, but you prob shouldn't take both. I would ask your doctor. Good luck and keep us posted.
