I did a beauty product overhaul a couple of years ago - these are the things I love to use now:

Moisturiser: coconut oil and one drop of vegetable glycerine (I used to have very oily skin & never thought I could apply OIL to my skin, but it's just perfect for me)

Eye Makeup Remover: Olive oil & castor oil mix

Mask: Aspirin Mask (don't dismiss it - google it). Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid with a gentler exfoliation action than AHA's. My skin looks new when I do this. I'm not sure if this fits into "Toxin-free" for this forum - sorry if not.

Toner: One third cup apple cider vinegar mixed with two thirds cup cooled green tea (3-4 bags steeped for 30 minutes). Keep most of it in the fridge & just a little out for a few days' use.(I'm not often bothered enough to do this but it is good)

Cleanser: Oil Cleansing Method (again, google it - beautiful results)

Makeup: I use mineral makeup now. Absolutely love Everyday Minerals products! They are quality, give a natural and flawless finish, are actually GOOD for the skin, and ridiculously cheap (even after I pay shipping to Australia!). I will never go back to goopy, sticky chemical makeup again.

Hair: After conditioning, a final ACV rinse in the shower. I use one of those water bottles with the sippy tops & put in about a couple of cms (say an little less than an inch?) of apple cider vinegar, then top it up with filtered water & add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Just quirt through hair before getting out of shower. GREAT shine & good for scalp.

Happy playing!
