If one believes that the women's lib movement was spawned from oppression, abuse, or neglect (i.e. men dropping the ball in regards to protector and provider roles), then it seems to me men only have themselves to blame for this situation. I don't have much empathy for the "bitter male" because ultimately we always have control (in terms of the things we are supposed to), even in today's society where roles are supposedly less defined.
