The pool and hot tub at the local YMCA (I am a member) now uses bromine. I'm having serious second thoughts about swimming in the pool but my girlfriend is a swimmer and wants me to join her...that's a dilemma. I wonder how much bromine one absorbs in a pool (no more hot tub for me)? Another pool in town uses a recently developed saline solution to purify the water, like swimming in salt water. This seems like a better choice (do a search for saline filters in swimming pools).
