It sounds like you are living in a community of hillbillys/rednecks that have no self-respect and need to think that other people are less of a human being than they are (which, actually, doesn't seem possible, THEY are behaving as though they are the lowest form of life). GET OUT OF THERE, move to a better community (no, don't call a bombing strike on the golf course, just MOVE), and don't let anyone know where you are moving to. I never heard of such insanity, hatred and bigotry in my life. Can you imagine what their conscience is like? It makes them feel like the lowest form of life (for good reason), and that is why they NEED to do this everyday. I'm not defending them at all, I'm trying to "turn the tables" of condescension so that you can gain the proper perspective of your self-worth and self-esteem. MOVE AWAY, get in touch with family.
