My buddy built a device that he could fry trees with from 100 feet away, from a kitchen magnetron. He'd shoot it at the tree, and about 3 days later the leaves would all turn brown and fall off.

I have a stange sensation that he showed me other amazing things, but for some reason my memory in that area is blank.
