I get this stuff called Lucini, its from Tuscany. i will look
into the sources you gave me.. I too am of Mediteranean descent
but i am not a native, just in my ancestry.

I am curious how you get your protien if you dont eat beans.
I dont want to sound like a worried nagging mother-but do
you take say an amino acid supplement? Otherwise i beg
you to eat some beans! Also Brown rice ( properly soaked)
contains B complex in small amounts and some protein.
