I got an idea for ya. I sing as well. I used to have chronic sinus infections - which is actually why I chose painting over singing, believe it or not. Now, I know a lot more about natural methods, of course.

I learned recently that putting 1-2 drops of oregano oil in your nettie pot is one of the best ways to cut a sinus infection. Oregano oil is one of the best Antibiotics /antimicrobial *specifically* for sinus and respiratory infections. So - I tried it. First sinus infection of the year, last year and I bit the bullet. 2 drops of oil in the nettie pot, a few washes and I was drastically better. (I'd start small, wow it's a punch!)

The pollen is going full force and I've been experiencing a tight throat the last few days. At first, I thought it was the Iodine working it's magic on anything that'd been growing or being weird in my throat (ie origins of polyps). I have a polyp in the back of my throat that showed up a year ago - super bummer. I started oregano on top of the Iodine (not together) - and it's wonderfully better.
